Susan L. Kapp, CPO, received her Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University in 1979 and received her prosthetic and orthotic education at Northwestern University. She is an assistant professor and the director of the Prosthetics-Orthotics Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Her responsibilities include the administration of the academic program and clinic, teaching and patient care.

Ms. Kapp is the secretary treasurer of the Texas Chapter of the Academy and a member of the Academy's Research & Development Committee. Ms. Kapp is past chair of NAPOE, serves on the US-ISPO board and served five years as an NCOPE commissioner.
