A panel of representatives from Smith Global, Otto Bock, and Ohio Willow Wood will answer a series of questions about each manufacturer's microprocessor vacuum pumps at the third annual PrimeFare West meeting February 15-16, 2008, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The questions were composed by PrimeCare Orthotics & Prosthetics Network's clinical directors, and there will be an open forum for attendees to pose their own questions to the panel at the end of the session.
As a lead-in to the forum, there will be three individual sessions geared specifically toward each manufacturer's knee, comparing the differences and similarities between microprocessor vacuum pumps on the prosthetic track. PrimeFare West also will feature in-depth post-mastectomy workshops on Saturday, February 16. In addition to post-mastectomy, up to 12 hours of OP&P courses will be offered.
