The third annual PrimeFare West will take place February 15-16 at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. The program will feature opportunities for up to 12 hours of prosthetic, orthotic, and pedorthic courses. PrimeFare is a scientific symposium with hands on exposure for maximum learning experiences.

Based upon the stated needs of practitioners across the country for education for mastectomy fitters, PrimeFare West will feature its first ever post-mastectomy track this year. This is an opportunity for CFOM professionals to earn as many as eight hours of continuing education units.

In addition, in-depth education for pedorthists will be offered by Dennis Janisse, CPed, and Erick Janisse, CO, CPed, National Pedorthic Services; and Ernesto Castro, CPed, and Don Pierson, CO, CPed, Arizona AFO.

Not to be missed is the Microprocessor Vacuum Pump Forum, which will feature a panel of representatives from Smith Global, Otto Bock, and Ohio Willow Wood who will answer a series of questions put forth by PrimeCare's clinical directors about each manufacturer's microprocessor vacuum pumps. At the end of the session there will be an open forum for attendees to pose questions of their own to the panel.

As a lead in to the forum, a series of three individual sessions specific to each knee will be presented, comparing the differences and similarities between microprocessor vacuum pumps.

"We are really enthusiastic about this year's PrimeFare West meeting," said Cathie Pruitt, president and CEO of the PrimeCare O&P Network. "We have some unique and new programs, and we anticipate a dramatic increase in attendance over last year's meeting, based on the number of registrations received to date."
