AOPA Calls for Papers for National Assembly

The American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) has announced a call for papers for its 2009 National Assembly, September 2023, Seattle, Washington. Interested presenters should submit an abstract of their proposed scientific paper or a description of their proposed business paper by Wednesday, January 31, 2009.

AOPA will consider papers for the following types of presentations:

Clinical Presentations

Clinical submissions must be based on sound research and strong empirical data. To submit a clinical abstract, visit www.aopanet.org/op_events/national_assembly/presenters/index.php

Business Presentations

Business submissions should be authored by qualified O&P professionals and business management experts who have significant business experience. To submit a description of a business presentation, visit www.aopanet.org/op_events/national_assembly/presenters/index.php

Poster Presentations

Applications for poster presentations will be accepted through Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Poster presentations should be a graphical display of research findings in a poster format that includes photographs, diagrams, flowcharts, graphs, or any sample educational materials developed. According to AOPA, Those who submit an abstract will be notified by Sunday, March 15 if their abstract has been accepted. The presentations will be selected by the AOPA Assembly Program Committee.
