Randall Alley, BSc, CP, LP, FAAOP, and CEO of biodesigns, Santa Monica, California, has been featured in bonus content on the Blu-ray disc release of the Walt Disney Studios movie Surrogates, starring Bruce Willis. Surrogates is set in a futuristic world in which humans use robots, via remote linkups, as their public selves.
The bonus content, “A More Perfect You: The Science of Surrogates,” is an exclusive feature on the Blu-ray version of the movie that presents a perspective on current robotic science and potential future developments. It was released January 26, 2010. Alley joined director Jonathan Mostow, members of the cast, and futurist James Canton, PhD, on the feature.
