Espiritu Design, Salt Lake City, Utah, has won a Red Dot Product Design Award for its work on the Fillauer Element™ prosthetic foot system. According to the red dot Award website, “designers and manufacturers from 57 countries…submitted products for consideration.”
The award will be presented at a gala awards ceremony on July 5 in Essen, Germany.
The Red Dot Design Award—one of the world’s largest design competitions—was founded in 1955 by German company Design Zentrum Nordhein Westfalen, Essen, Germany.
The Element was previously recognized by the Utah Arts Council’s Design Arts Utah 2009 competition.
