The National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics & Prosthetics (NAAOP) has released a new video webcast. In NAAOP’s June 28 webcast, NAAOP General Counsel Peter Thomas provides an update on how the U.S. Supreme Court’s healthcare decision will impact O&P.
According to Thomas, from an O&P perspective, there is little that specifically impacts the field. However, there are many regulatory developments and trends that will impact all of healthcare, including O&P, such as essential health benefits regulations, payment bundling methods, state-based insurance exchanges, and the medical device tax.
