Prosthetics Outreach Foundation (POF) was recently awarded a grant from the humanitarian-focused Grapes for Humanity Global Foundation. POF will use these funds to support its work in northern Sierra Leone, where it will provide prostheses, mobile outreach services, and rehabilitation services while the country continues to recover from an 11-year civil war in which thousands of children and adults lost limbs. POF will work with the country’s Ministry of Health and Sanitation and the Makeni Government Hospital, Sierra, Leone, in these efforts.
