Gerald Stark Jr., PhD, MSEM, CPO/L, FAAOP, senior upper limb clinical specialist with Ottobock, Austin, Texas, is conducting a survey to understand the factors that influence patient acceptance of upper-limb prosthetic devices, and to identify which factors have the greatest effect on acceptance. The goal of the survey is to help prosthetists address the issues and maximize patient acceptance.

Experience fitting at least one patient with an upper-limb prosthesis is required to participate. The five-question survey can be accessed at www.surveymonkey.com/r/ULAcceptanceFactors.
