Cerebral Palsy Symposium Slated in Mexico

The first interdisciplinary symposium on cerebral palsy has been scheduled for December 2-4 at the Hotel Holiday Inn Select in Guadalajara, Jalisco State, Mexico.

Sessions will be presented by Kevin Meade, PhD; Bryan Malas, CO; Tom DiBello, CO, FAAOP; Jose Miguel Gomez T., MD, CO; Leonardo Millan, MD; Virgilio Ortiz Garcia, MD; Sergio Landazuri Banuelos, TND;  and Arturo Vazquez Vela Sanchez, CPO, FAAOP.

Subjects will include: The Importance of Formal Education in Mexico; Biomechanics and Materials; Basic Concepts of Cerebral Palsy; Physical Therapy for Patients with Cerebral Palsy; Most Frequent Lower-Extremity, Upper-Extremity, and Spinal Column Deformities; Surgical Procedures; and Case Presentations.
