The Orthotic and Prosthetic Assistance Fund Inc. (OPAF), founder of the First VolleyTM Adaptive Tennis clinics, has certified Kyle Devlin as a First Volley instructor, announced OPAF Executive Director Robin Burton.

Devlin joins the First Volley family of instructors including Stan Backovsky and OPAF's First Volley Director of Tennis, Darren Kindred, as those who are qualified to conduct OPAF First Volley tennis clinics across the country.

Devlin is a tennis professional on staffat the Bucks County Racquet Club, Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, and a student at Mercer County Community College in New Jersey. He recently received the ranking of All American in May 2006, both First and Second teams. He is the son of tennis figure Marty Devlin, who was instrumental in the concept of First Volley, Burton said.

"We are very pleased to bring Kyle on board the First Volley team," Burton added. "He will enable OPAF to conduct more clinics in 2007, reaching more people to show the advantages of health and fitness to those with physical challenges. Kyle's desire is to help people participate in tennis where they may have thought they could not."

OPAF's next First Volley clinics are scheduled Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Center in Philadelphia to benefit orthotic and prosthetic patients at the Shriners Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and May 19, 2007, at the Bucks County Racquet Club in Washington Crossing.
