Oct 3 Century College: Coverage Rules in Orthotics and Prosthetics - Medicare reimbursement for DMEPOS is strictly governed. Oct 7-8 Össur: Achieving Optimal Prosthetic Outcomes in Physical Therapy I - This two-day offering provides education on the treatment of the lower-limb amputee. This includes physical therapy topics such as acute post-operative management, techniques for gait training, and outcome measures. Oct 14-15 Spokane Falls Community College: IF YOU NEED CEUs, IT DOESN’T GET QUICKER OR EASIER THAN THIS! - The O&P Technology Programs at Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) are offering the 2016 Technician CE Course on October 14th and 15th in Spokane, Washington. The course has been designed for O&P technicians, but continuing education credits are available for CPOs and orthotic fitters, too. For clinicians, the ABC will view the course as a “refresher.” Orthotic fitters who attend will be eligible for Category II credits. The cost for the 2016 Technician CE Course is $150. Morning refreshments, lunch, and an evening reception will be provided on Friday and on Saturday an array of mid-morning refreshments will be offered and parking passes are provided.
