- Calhoun Named Flag Bearer for Paralympic Opening Ceremonies Alpine skier and Iraq war veteran Heath Calhoun has been elected to be the U.S. flag bearer for the March 12 Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. Captains from each sport elected the flag bearer on Wednesday, March 10.
