Tonja Randolph, President & Publisher
Tonja Randolph founded Western Media LLC in January 2002 after first entering the O&P field in 1994.
In 1997, she was hired by JKS Publications to lead a new magazine for the international market, O&P World. Having just graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in marketing from Metropolitan State University, Denver, the role was a perfect match. Thus began the first-hand experience needed to start a new magazine from the bottom up–the international travel was icing on the cake.
Launching The O&P EDGE was a dream come true for this aspiring entrepreneur. Recently launching new products, such as EDGE Marketing Services and EDGE Quick Credit, we now offer marketing services to independent facilities and practitioners, and clinicians can now earn CEUs on select products advertised in The O&P EDGE in the comfort of their homes or offices.
In her spare time, she enjoys dining out with her husband, Rob, and spending time with their two daughters, Ashley and Casey; spoiling their dogs, Colby and Cali; cheering on the fourteen-year-olds on the softball team Rob and Ashley coach; shopping; and traveling. She can be reached at
Kim Espinosa, Director of Sales
Kim Espinosa is the Director of Sales for Western Media, where she leads the team's many sales initiatives, including the Custom Publications division. While The O&P EDGE is her baby, Kim is always thinking of new products and initiatives to enhance the magazine. She spearheaded EDGE Quick Credit to make it easier for her advertisers to reach potential customers by offering them continuing education courses on their products. Her most recent experience prior to joining Western Media was at a local Denver television station, CBS Channel 4, a KCNC affiliate, where she helped sell their free consumer referral service, Haystack Colorado. Kim has worked for generic and branded pharmaceutical companies in sales, marketing, and corporate contract administration. Kim has volunteered with several foster home renovation projects in Colorado.
Kim is married to an Arvada firefighter and is a mother of three. She stays exceptionally busy with football, basketball, and baseball with her two boys and loves visiting with her daughter and son-in-law. She enjoys the occasional night out of Karaoke and believes that everyone should rescue at least one dog or pet. She can be reached at

Karyn Sader, Art Director
Joining Western Media in early 2014, Karyn brings a solid foundation of magazine design and creative services management to the table. She has supervised the design and production process for numerous publications, including Newspaper & Technology, Financial Advertising Review, Twins, and Metro Magazine. Although Karyn ran a design studio for several years and ventured into the fields of higher education and advertising, publication design is her true passion. The magazines she has helped create have won international and national awards for their design and editorial content. Additionally, she is a published writer with a degree in journalism/mass communication/graphic design from The University of Iowa, Iowa City.
Originally from northern Minnesota, Karyn escaped the extreme cold and bird-sized mosquitoes as soon as she was legally able. An avid reader, she also enjoys hiking, running, camping, and whitewater rafting with her husband, who is a practicing architect, and their two children.

Heather ran her own successful design studio for more than 15 years and worked with clients including Comcast and Colorado Country Life magazine, and various nonprofit organizations. She has designed everything from annual reports to product catalogs. Heather also enjoys photography; her favorite subjects are her three children and the natural beauty of Colorado. Marti has been working in the O&P field since 1990. She started as an administrative assistant to the general manager of Scott Orthopedics in Denver, Colorado. In 1995, she moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, to be the office manager and assist Kandee Stephens with O&P Business News, the first independent O&P magazine of its kind. It was there that Marti found her niche in the magazine world when she began helping with layout and design. With her fine arts and computer graphics background, production on the magazine came naturally for her and it is what she enjoys doing. She can be reached at
