Did someone encourage you to work in O&P?
My high school guidance counselor.

What is your dream vehicle?
A high-end Volvo—I’ll know it when I see it.

What is the best vacation you ever took?
To Moshi, Tanzania. I spent two weeks at TATCOT (Tanzanian Training Center for Orthopedic Technologists) exchanging ideas, and then I spent a week camping near there.

What changes would you like to see in the O&P industry?
Increased funding for continuing education, especially for smaller centers.

Do you pursue any hobbies?
I snowboard, golf, read, and chat with friends.

Favorite Pie?
I’m not a pie eater, but I’ll take a chocolate cake any day!

What advice would you give to someone considering O&P as a career?
DO IT! Don’t even think twice, just do it! You won’t regret it.
