Frank Caruso, COHanger P&O
Haverford, Pennsylvania
How did you get started in
O&P?
By accident. I answered an ad posted for an
orthotic technician to work in a lab in the basement of Georgetown
University. The company happened to be owned by Van Sabel.
Why did you stick with it?
Actually, I left and got a teaching degree but I soon decided I
wanted to do something in the medical field, so I went back to work
for Van again.
If you were a cookie, what kind would you
be?
Chocolate chip. Everyone likes a chocolate chip cookie.
What is your favorite company to work
with?
Cascade DAFO.
What was the last movie youve
seen?
James Bond--Die Another Day.
What would you say to someone who asked your advice
about going into O&P?
It is an excellent career with great professional and growth
opportunities.
