Ohio Willow Wood to Enter Indian Market

Ohio Willow Wood, Mt. Sterling, Ohio, announced that it will enter the Indian market through a partnership with Total O&P, Noida, India. This collaboration is intended to provide prosthetic products, clinical support, and CAD/CAM solutions for the orthotics and prosthetics industry in India. Ohio Willow Wood said the partnership is an advancement of the company's commitment to provide prosthetic components and technology to the global O&P market.

"As Ohio Willow Wood expands into new international markets, it is critical we find local partners who can provide not only sales support but also clinical and business support for our customers," said Ohio Willow Wood Sales Director Doug Kreitzer. "We firmly believe that with our new relationship with Total O&P we have found a strong, long-term partner in India."

Total O&P is a cooperative venture founded by Amit Bhanti, CPO, and Aditya Nath under the chairmanship of Vinod Bhanti, a well-known figure in the Indian O&P market. Tarun Kulshrestha is the managing director of Total O&P's operations and brings more than 17 years of O&P experience. Their intent for the venture is to provide the independent patient care facilities in India with a new alternative for clinical training, product supply, central fabrication, and clinical support.

Total O&P's location, which is near New Delhi, includes a customer training facility, a complete central fabrication facility that utilizes the latest OMEGA Tracer technologies, and their corporate offices. "Both Total O&P and Ohio Willow Wood have been extremely diligent with our approach to the Indian market," said Bhanti, chief executive officer of Total O&P. "Total O&P is committed to clinician training, even to the extent of working closely with Northwestern University to bring their training modules to India."
