US ISPO Call for Abstracts

The United States and Dominican Republic National Member Societies of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) invite physical rehabilitation specialists to submit abstracts for the Reaching Beyond Our Borders 2009 (RBOB09) Latin American Conference, to be held January 28-31, 2009, at the Embassy Suites Resort and Golf Club in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic. The theme for this year's conference is Partners in Rehabilitation.

O&P practitioners, physicians, engineers, and therapists from the United States and Latin America will present on a wide variety of rehabilitation topics including the benefits of a clinical team approach, diabetes management, and many levels of orthotic and prosthetic rehabilitation.

Both Spanish and English simultaneous translation will be provided.

The Embassy Suites is an affordable, all-suites golf resort with access to a private beach and is located approximately 20 minutes from the International Airport of Las Americas in the capital city of Santo Domingo.

Submit abstracts by visiting the US ISPO website (www.usispo.org) and following the links to RBOB09. Abstracts must be received by May 31, 2008.
