The Academy Relocates to DC

The American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) is leaving its former headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, to inhabit new, fully accessible offices in downtown Washington DC as of June 30, 2008. According to an Academy press release, the new offices are conveniently close to Capital decision-makers and one block from the Metro Center stop on the metro rail system.

Wendy Beattie, CPO, FAAOP, president of the Academy, said, "The Academy continues to grow and to expand the services we provide to our members, and we look forward to that momentum continuing in our new home in the District of Columbia."
