Becker Oregon Offers Modular Laminated Lower-Limb Orthoses A new, modern design approach inspired us to
combine the conveniences of a modular system with the rigidity and
lightweight characteristics of composites to create a laminated
system that is user friendly to the practitioner.
Components can be easily detached from the orthosis and adjusted
for ease of fitting, adjustment, and replacement. The laminated
sections of the orthosis are now fabricated around the metal
components and attached with screws.
This cosmetically appealing orthosis system has a streamlined
design and is lightweight. The typical KAFO weighs only 2.6 lb.
