CAF Grant Applications Available

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) announced on September 2 that applications for its CAF Access for Athletes grants are now available on its website and via fax or mail. Individuals may submit one grant request per year in only one of the three grant categories: equipment grant; training grant; or competition grant. Equipment grants are considered two-year grants, so those who received a 2008 equipment grant will not be eligible for another until 2010.

According to CAF, to be considered, grant applications and supporting material must be postmarked no later than December 1, 2008. At the Access for Athletes page of the CAF website, applicants may read program details, rules, and regulations, and download the grant application and cover letter.
