PrimeFare West to Feature New Certification Courses, VenueThe 2009 PrimeFare West Regional Symposium will feature two
certification courses: an i-LIMBTM Prosthetic Hand
Practitioner Training Course and an E-MAG Active Orthosis and
SensorWalk Orthosis Certification Course. This is the first time
these certification courses will be held at a PrimeFare Symposium,
said Cathie Pruitt, president and CEO of PrimeCare O&P
Network.
PrimeFare West will also be moving to a new venue in 2009. The
meeting will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt
Lake City, Utah, and hotel accommodations will be at the Marriott
across from the Convention Center. "We are delighted that the
meeting has grown to the point that we can take advantage of
holding it in the Convention Center this time," Pruitt said. "We
have found through our regional PrimeFare East meeting that
convention centers are the most conducive environment for our
symposia."
PrimeFare West will feature educational tracks devoted to
prosthetics, orthotics, pedorthics, and practice management.
Practitioners will have the opportunity earn up to 12 CEUs at the
conference, Pruitt added.
The Symposium dates are February 20-21, 2009.
