CFm Wins New-Business AwardAn anaplastologist who specializes in creating custom partial
digits, breast prostheses, artificial eyes, and facial prostheses
has won a national award intended to help women business owners
grow their businesses to million-dollar annual revenue levels.
Barbara Spohn-Lillo, CFm, certified anaplastologist, owner of
Prosthetic Illusions, Lakewood, Colorado, was presented with a Make
Mine a Million $ Business award on September 18. The award was
presented by Count Me In for Women's Economic Independence, a
not-for-profit provider of business resources and education for
women entrepreneurs. Spohn-Lillo won based on a three-minute
"elevator pitch" presented to a panel of judges and an audience.
The pitch was designed to convince the judges of her potential to
build a $1 million business within two years. Nine other women
business owners from Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona won as
well.
The award will provide Spohn-Lillo with the following dream-list
