Mission Statement Bader Prosthetics & Orthotics is dedicated to serving the Tampa / St. Petersburg regional medical community with expert clinical evaluation, design, and fabrication of custom biomechanical devices.

Mr. Wade Bader, Owner and director of Bader Prosthetics & Orthotics, is an American Board Certified (ABC) Prosthetist & Orthotist. A graduate of FIU in 1992 with a baccalaureate in Prosthetics & Orthotics, Mr. Bader possesses 15 years of technical, academic, and clinical experience.

Recognized as an industry leader in the application and adaptation of high tech materials into the field, Mr. Bader has three patents pending for techniques he has developed that allow orthotists to produce cost effective composite components. We feel that the use of high tech materials doesn't in itself make for superior results or outcomes, however, understanding pathomechanics, setting realistic controls, and having these new materials to select from give Bader Prosthetics & Orthotics a terrific advantage in our ability to successfully treat our patients.

At our modern 2000 square foot facility in North Tampa, we see a wide variety of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, with a wide range of conditions and needs. Because we provide comprehensive Prosthetics and Orthotics, we offer a complete line of "off the shelf" devices for fractures, post-op, and short term splinting. The main element of our practice is in the application of "custom" orthotics. This gives us superior results in the ability to handle patients with unique deformities, long term conditions, or where accurate control is critical to the patient's outcome.

Our technical staff has been retrained to fabricate the new high tech devices, but we also are fully versed in traditional metal and leather, or thermoplastic design.

State of the art components, tools, and materials are resources that allow all medical professionals to advance all their respective fields. Used and applied competently, these high tech advances not only save lives, but in the case of Orthotics and Prosthetics, can dramatically improve the quality of any life they touch. Keeping people independent and active, through work and leisure makes for longer and more rewarding lives. It is our feeling that all our amputee clients should be provided with the equipment that will most benefit the patient in this respect.

The key to our successful treatments and our own success can be summarized in one word, "quality". Our patients achieve the best possible outcomes because we have the knowledge and skill, we take the time and caring, and we use the best materials and components to assure a great outcome every time. Our results are both dramatic and consistent, and we have earned the respect and admiration throughout much of our local rehabilitation community.
