American Prosthetics & Orthotics' professional staff members and patient care facilities are nationally accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics. Such approval by our field's most stringent certifying body means that our company meets the highest standards of our profession.

In addition to formal schooling and extensive clinical training, APO practitioners regularly attend continuing education programs, including quarterly company seminars on new components and technology, and regional and national workshops and courses. Our practitioners also contribute research papers to scholarly journals, and teach orthotics and prosthetics courses at the university level.

As part of the medical rehabilitation team, we invite physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals and students to tour our patient care facilities and attend inservice programs. Strategically located throughout Iowa, our offices are convenient and accessible to patients. This also benefits physician groups and managed care providers who care for patients in extended service areas.
