The Bardach - Schoene Prosthetic Lab was founded in 1936 by Waldemar Schoene, a poineer in the field of prosthetics. The Bardach - Schoene team of American Board Certified Prosthetists is currently led by Harold Schoene, CP, owner and clinical director. Harold Schoene received his training in prosthetics from UCLA and Northwestern University, and he holds certificates in several prosthetic systems. With over 40 years of professional experience and expertise in the field of prosthetics, Harold Schoene has the experience, education, and technical skills necessary to custom fit and fabricate upper and lower prosthetic devices. The Bardach - Schoene Co., Inc. is a facility certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc., and member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association, and the Illinois Society of Orthotist and Prosthetists.
