One of the most helpful ways of dealing with limb loss is to visit with others who have gone through a similar experience. There are several support groups who are very active in the Metrolina Region. Most of the groups hold monthly meetings and host various activities and topics of conversation. Several of the group members also make home and/or hospital visits to assist new or potential amputees.
