Coyote Design and Manufacturing: Plastic "Click Buckle"

The "Summit Lock" from Coyote Design & Manufacturing is a clever adaptation of boot closure technology, providing both rotary and vertical control of various fabric-covered liners.

Coyote Design and Manufacturing has developed a method to attach a plastic "click buckle" to the fabric reinforcement of various gel liners to provide a mechanical lock between liner and socket. This alternative to the more common shuttle or lanyard attachments has two primary advantages. First, it is mounted in the proximal third of the liner so it does not increase the overall length of the socket. Secondly, due to its attachment away from the longitudinal axis of the residuum, it provides rotational control as well as axial suspension.

I thought this was a good illustration of the "out of the box thinking" that Coyote talks about in the corporate motto. For more information, or to see some of their other niche products, drop by their web site at: www.coyotedandm.com

I'm interested in riding my Harley across Europe so if anyone knows how I can get in touch with Jen Smith, her Dad or others that have made a similar trip, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks
