Dallas Academy Meeting

Many practitioners approached the recent Academy meeting with some trepidation, for two reasons. First, it was the first major Academy meeting since the vote to consolidate the major organizations failed. And, many people were discouraged after the disappointing AOPA meeting in Washington, DC last fall.

Fortunately, the doomsayers were proven wrong when the Dallas meeting turned out to be one of the better meetings, both scientifically and in terms of exhibits, in recent memory. Predictions of a "P&O jinx" turned out to be unfounded.
