Spanish Language Version of Corner
Thanks to the generosity of Alberto Castillo, the articles in this Corner will also be available in Spanish. Mr. Castillo has been a prosthetist-orthotist and instructor at the Mexican Rehabilitation Institute, School for P&O in Mexico City since 1960. He has worked with upper and lower limb amputees for forty years and participated as a lecturer, professor, and instructor in numerous continuing education courses organized by the Mexican P&O Association [SMOPAC] since its founding in 1974.
Mr. Castillo has served as President, Secretary, and Information Coordinator for SMOPAC and is currently Moderator of the Internet-based Discussion Forum in Spanish. In addition to his private practice in Mexico City, he is the author of numerous patient care publications including the MANUAL FOR LOWER LIMB AMPUTEES, GAIT ANALYSIS OF TRANSTIBIAL AMPUTEES, MANUAL FOR UPPER LIMB AMPUTEES, and the GUIDE FOR TRANSTIBIAL AMPUTEES.
We are grateful to Mr. Castillo for his many contributions to the field over the past four decades, and for his ongoing efforts to translate P&O information into the Spanish language.
