John Michael's Corner Welcome to the intersection of orthotics and prosthetics in cyberspace!
This Corner begins with a report on a very intriguing study suggesting that the long-anticipated spike in disabled elderly baby-boomers may not materialize after all. It continues with information about a useful thermo-molding tool, and highlights a low-cost alternative to the computer mouse suitable for many people with disabilities. It concludes with a video clip of a triple control ring harness that has recently become available and a short note about a refund from music retailers readers may be entitled to receive.

All chapters from the Spanish language textbooks on Lower Limb Prosthetics and Orthotics have been posted, and remain available for downloading.

Thanks to the generosity of Sr. Alberto Castillo from Mexico City, the articles in this Corner will now be available in Spanish too. A brief biography is posted, listing just a few of Sr. Castillo's many accomplishments. Additional chapters from the texts on lower limb prosthetics and orthotics that have been translated into Spanish are also available for downloading.

Please feel free to leave your comments and suggestions regarding this information in our guest book . If you would like to be notified by e-mail whenever this corner is updated, please become a registered user of oandp.com .

Thank you.
