This Corner begins with the final installment in a series of reports on highlights from the recent Academy meeting in Orlando, Florida. It continues with highlights from an article about how patients and doctors might collaborate to take back control of medical care and concludes by presenting a simple modification to a vacuum-forming platen that Sr. Marlo Ortiz uses in his facility to maintain optimal alignment of prosthetic devices he has fitted.
All chapters from the Spanish language textbooks on Lower Limb Prosthetics and Orthotics have been posted, and remain available for downloading, along with the classic text from UCLA on Upper Limb Prostheses.
Thanks to the generosity of Sr. Alberto Castillo from Mexico City, the articles in this Corner will now be available in Spanish too. A
