Welcome to the intersection of P&O in cyberspace.
This Corner begins with Part One of a report from the Academy meeting in San Francisco highlighting both selected clinical presentations and some of the new products on display. It concludes with a technical note on "laminating" synthetic casting tape.
The next Corner will include notes from Instructional Courses on Evidence Based Practice in Stroke Management and Functional Electric Stimulation Orthoses, as well as presentations from Specialty Day on Prostheses for the Amputee Athlete and Management of Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency.
All chapters from the Spanish language textbooks on Lower Limb Prosthetics remain available for downloading, along with the classic text from UCLA on Upper Limb Prostheses.
Thanks to the generosity of Sr. Alberto Castillo from Mexico City, the articles in this Corner will now be available in Spanish too. A brief biography is posted, listing just a few of Sr. Castillo's many accomplishments. Additional chapters from the texts on lower limb prosthetics and orthotics that have been translated into Spanish are also available for downloading.
