Good afternoon practitioners: My name is Matthew Mills, and I recently finished the grueling and intense post graduate orthotics program with Cal State Dominguez Hills. I am also informally trained in lower extremity prosthetics as well as formally trained in orthotics. As someone who has a heart for travel and mission work, I am currently looking into medical opportunities in South America, preferably Peru, Argentina, or Brazil in the next coming months. I do also remember a thread posted here concerning Haiti, that I may also be interested in. To date, I have not come across any medical mission groups specifically for South America while searching, or I should say those related directly to O&P. If anyone is aware of medical mission opportunities in any of these areas, I would be very interested in hearing and learning more. Thanks for everyone here. Sincerely,Matthew D. Mills |
