best orthotic for plantar fasciatis

Hi List! Can anyone tell about the best orthotic solution or plantar
fasciatis?I have come across so many patients with different activity
levels,different age group.sometimes just gel heel cups relieves the pain
but most patients complain that it recurred after few days.Is there any
specific guideline,contraindications to follow while planning orthosis for
these patients? is any strong evidence that states certain Insoles designs
are useful ?and if so then what are the recomanded materials for Insoles?
