Congratulation for the "Entry into Force" of the UN Convention on the Rights
of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) on 3rd of May 2008,



After years of advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities, finally
their rights were recognized internationally by adoption of the UNCRPD on 13
th December 2006 by United Nations General Assembly and the twentieth
ratification by Ecuador on 3rd of April 2008 completed the convention
requirement to enter into force,
