Thoughts on Transfemoral "running" leg
Posted By: GepetNels on June 28, 2012
Dear List I have an active transfemoral amputee who would like to start running. He has done some research on his own through other amputees who seem to either prefer the Otto Bock 3R95 paired with the 1E90 Sprinter foot or the Total Knee 2000 paired with the Flex-run. They seem to be loyal in their pairings. I am just seeking input from practitioners who have successfully fit a transfemoral with a running leg and what combination you have found successful including suspension techniques. I'll try and put together any and all responses I get and share. Thanks Jerry Nelson CPO Ogden, UT |
