Getting tools to the testing sight

How have people been getting their tools to the CPM exam testing sight the
past few years? I'll be flying to St. Petersburg, FL at the end of the
month from Minnesota and I find myself being overly concerned about getting
everything down there safely. I've contacted the TSA and they can't
promise anything about going through the security check point.

Has anyone had any problems carrying on or checking their tools?
Especially the cast saw.
