The effect of salt water on Prosthetic materials

Hello List, Being from Oklahoma, I haven't had experience with salt water and its effects. Particular materials I would love to know more about are: Metal components Proflex Proflex w/ silicone ESP valves And acrylic resins Also how about liners?
