Regions
Epidermoid Cyst on Very Active Transtibial
Posted By: Duane Nelson on October 25, 2012
Dear List, I am looking for advice in the best practice to manage reoccurring epidermoid cysts on a transtibial residual limb. Details about my case follow... I have a very active transtibial patient who is suffering from reoccurring epidermoid cysts on his residual limb. The cysts have reoccurred both in the popliteal region and on the mid anterior tibia. The patient wears a total surface bearing socket with an Iceross cushion liner, an expulsion valve and sealing sleeve. Thanks, I will post responses. -- *Duane Nelson C.P(c)* Saskatchewan Abilities Council 2310 Louise Ave. Saskatoon, SK S7J 2C7 306-374-4400 |
