Distal end pad
Posted By: Vaughn Washington on April 25, 2012
I have a patient that had a distal end pad made several years ago by another company. He stated they used some type of resin mixture that expanded at the bottom of the socket. The material is porous but very soft and conformed perfectly to the distal end of his residual limb. Does anyone know what type of resin mixture was used to fabricate this distal end pad. Thanks for response, Vaughn Washington L.P. |
