Orthotic knee joint recommendation
Posted By: Chad on October 8, 2012
Does anyone know of a knee joint that when "locked" will still allow some range of motion? I have a patient who wants between 5-15 degrees of knee flexion when walking, but if his knee "buckles", the joint will stop full knee flexion. Joint Needs some type of drop lock and unlock mechanism for sitting. Previous stance-control KAFO was rejected. Your recommendations are appreciated. Chad McCracken, CPO |
