LAMINATING RESIN

Foresee Orthopedic has formulated an epoxy-based resin, Epox-Acryl, that is designed for ease of use. Epox-Acryl, a toughened epoxide polymer, increases the durability of the finished lamination. The low viscosity of the resin promotes excellent wet-out and adhesion. This attribute helps reduce excess material weight without sacrificing strength and rigidity. When properly catalyzed (3% BPO), Epox-Acryl, will gel in about 10-20 minutes and can be demolded in about 30 minutes. You will not see the gas liberation that is so common in acrylic resins.
