Defending champions, Liberia beat hosts Ghana 3–2 on penalties to win the 2011 Cup of African Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF) on November 26, at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana. Liberia came back from two goals down to win. With this victory, Liberia has become the first and only team to twice win the biennial tournament in its six-year history.

At the end of contest, the Ghanaian duo of Cephas Ayibadek and Collins Gyamfi were decorated with the best defender and top scorer prizes, with the latter netting seven-goals in four matches.

Liberia midfielder Festus Harrison was judged the most valuable player of the tournament while team Niger, at its first showing in the tournament, received the fair play award.
