Sowah Elected President of Amputee Football

The president of the Ghana Amputee Football Federation, Francis Adjetey Sowah, has been elected as the president of the Amputee Football Federation of Africa (AFFA), the continental body for amputee football.

Abiba Lamido of Nigeria was elected first vice president. The second vice president position went to Haruna Osman from Niger, with Mamburd Sannai of Sierra Leone to serve as the secretary general.

The elections took place at a congress held alongside the ongoing 3rd Cup of Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF) in Accra, Ghana, November 18–26.
