Coyote Composite is an ideal replacement for braided carbon fiber in prosthetic and orthotic laminations. Itís made from basalt (volcanic rock), which is tougher and more flexible than carbon for more comfort in prosthetic sockets and orthotic bracing. The inert nature of this material has less inhalant risk and causes less irritation to the skin than alternatives.
