New latch-lock closure for easy donning and doffing
and removable and washable pads

Indications: vertebral compression fractures, osteoporosis, postsurgical support, and osteoarthritis.

Contraindications: three-column spinal fractures involving anterior, middle, and posterior spinal structures; compression fractures above T6 (because segmental motion increases above the sternal pad); and ineffective in limiting lateral bending and rotation of the upper lumbar spine.
