The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Burnaby, Canada, is conducting a survey on O&P research needs and priorities. The project’s goal is to establish a research strategy and platform that identifies needs and priorities in O&P, and to examine perceptions regarding what research topics would be of most benefit to clinical practitioners and those who use prosthetic and orthotic devices. The results will be used to develop a strategic framework for research project priorities at BCIT. The research team, led by Silvia Raschke, PhD, is seeking feedback from prosthetists, orthotists, members of the O&P clinical team, business owners, researchers, and consumers.
