John Michael's Corner Welcome to the intersection of orthotics and prosthetics in cyberspace! This month's Corner begins with an urgent plea for donations of prosthetic and orthotic components and rehabilitation equipment to assist practitioners in El Salvador as the country works to recover from two major earthquakes. A first-person report of the devastation and the P&O outreach efforts highlights the seriousness of this situation.

There is also a summary of key points from a just-published study proposing a rational and scientific basis for the subjective angular and linear changes we make during dynamic alignment trials of different prosthetic feet. This Corner concludes with posting additional chapters from texts on lower limb prosthetics and orthotics that have been translated into the Spanish language.
