Companies that don't support our profession

It's always fascinating to me when I find the marketing material from our suppliers that were never intended to be seen by the members of the O&P profession. While researching coding options for SMO's I ran across this very thorough document from the folks selling us STS casting socks. In great detail it outlines why podiatrists should be fitting and delivering AFO's to their patients. There is not only information on how to get a supplier number, there is also considerable time spent explaining how to maximize reimbursement, such as billing separately for casting materials and "office calls". As far as I can find by doing link searches, there is no link to this page on their webpage so it must be distributed to the intended market in a more discrete manner. http://www.stssox.com/PodAFOmanual.pdf Ted A.
